Overview:
We are seeking a Turf Inspector (Coding Line Inspector) to oversee quality assurance for our artificial turf products at a manufacturer’s coating and finishing plant in Georgia. This 1099 contractor position will focus on monitoring production lines, inspecting turf for defects, and verifying compliance with specifications to ensure our products meet company standards before shipment.

What is a Coding Line Inspector?
The “coding line” is the section of the turf manufacturing process where rolls are coated, finished, and labeled with identifying codes. The Coding Line Inspector ensures that turf rolls are properly coated, finished to spec, and accurately coded for traceability before being released for shipment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor production lines during turf coating and finishing processes.
  • Conduct coding line inspections to ensure product consistency, accuracy, and quality.
  • Verify product labeling, coding, and traceability information.
  • Identify and document any defects, irregularities, or non-compliance issues.
  • Work closely with plant staff to address and correct quality concerns in real time.
  • Maintain thorough records of inspections and provide timely reports to our operations team.
  • Confirm finished turf products meet company standards prior to release.
  • Uphold safety and quality control protocols within the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in manufacturing quality control, textiles, or turf manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of production or coating/finishing processes is a plus (training provided).
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to identify defects during fast-paced production.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently on-site at the manufacturer’s facility.
Contract Details:
  • 1099 independent contractor role
  • Location: Manufacturer’s facility in Georgia (on-site)
  • Flexible hours aligned with production schedules
  • Compensation: Competitive contract rate (based on experience)
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with quality inspection in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency in inspection reporting tools or documentation methods
Compensation:
  • $22/hr
